Catherine Fitzmaurice and Linda Wise

Two of the most well-known and innovative teachers of voice in contemporary theatre will direct a joint workshop in Los Angeles, California.

Catherine Fitzmaurice, founder of Fitzmaurice Voicework®, will work on Destructuring and Restructuring and text exploration. Linda Wise, co-director with Enrique Pardo of Pantheatre, will work on extended voice techniques and their developments since Roy Hart.

Catherine Fitzmaurice and Linda Wise first met at a voice conference in Santiago Chile in 2004. The dialogue that arose there resulted in Catherine being invited to Paris by Linda Wise and Linda being invited to New York by Catherine.
